Nothing says July in Grey County like fresh local sweet corn from roadside stands and farmers’ markets.
Prep time: 15 mins | Cook time: 15 mins | Serves: 4-6
Ingredients
4 to 6 ears fresh sweet corn, husks removed
2 tbsp butter, melted
1 tbsp pure Ontario maple syrup
1 tsp olive oil
1/2 tsp smoked paprika (optional)
Herb salt
Pinch of garlic powder
1 tsp flaky sea salt
1 tsp finely chopped fresh parsley or chives
Instructions
- Preheat grill to medium heat.
- Lightly brush corn with olive oil. Grill, turning occasionally, for about 8 to 10 minutes until lightly charred.
